This product is made up of Polymeric Barrier and Acoustic Foam, the foam acts as an absorber for great impact reduction while the barrier provides great resistance to airborne noise keeping it in the room you want it and not in the room above or below.

The Premium Underlay is a 10mm acoustic underlay mat used in homes, offices and public buildings that require additional sound insulation against impact and airborne noise. This product is excellent at reducing levels of noise. Lay the TRIPPLE LAY over wooden or concrete flooring, predominantly used below a carpeted floor finish, carpets can be laid directly over the TRIPPLE LAY.

Underlay can be laid over the top of the TRIPPLE LAY. Homeowners or carpet fitters would be able to install this product into homes or businesses for increased sound insulation against footfall and conversation sound coming through separating floors.

The Premium Underlay is simple to install into any room, supplied in 1200mm x 1000mm sheets it is easy to store and handle. The mat should be laid over the floor in a brick pattern, if you are working to Part E Building Regulations the TRIPPLE LAY should be bonded to the floor using a suitable adhesive. Cut the TRIPPLE LAY with a sharp knife or a pair of heavy duty scissors to fit any shape.
