This open celled foam has great absorption co-efficient, what this basically means is that if 100% of the sound gets directed at the foam then 70% will be absorbed and 30% will be reflected back to the projection source, what this means is in loud environments such as music studios, night clubs, or cinema rooms, it will reduce echoing thus sharpening up the sound quality in the subject room.

However this foam has a massive array of uses, it can be used in machine housing, In vans to protect equipment and stop banging while driving. and also in a wide use of domestic applications.
